With its stunning landscapes and vast public lands, hunting in Idaho is perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while pursuing trophy game or simply enjoying the outdoor experience.

Idaho is famous in the fly fishing world for its blue-ribbon trout streams! For anglers, Idaho is truly a land of opportunity and variety with 6,000 miles of streams and rivers, more than 3,000 natural lakes, and a quarter-million acres of ponds and reservoirs covering the gamete from alpine valleys to lowland deserts. Inhabiting those waters are 42 game fish species, from giant white sturgeon to wild trout, catfish to kokanee, and smallmouth bass to salmon and steelhead.

Idaho is a prime destination for hunting big game such as elk, mule deer, and black bear. The state also offers opportunities for upland game birds, waterfowl, and predators like wolves and mountain lions.

Idaho is known for its variety of hunting opportunities, including over-the-counter tags and controlled hunts in prime units, making it accessible for hunters of all levels. Whether you prefer rifle, bow, or muzzleloader, Idaho’s wilderness provides exceptional hunting adventures.

TRIP REPORTS  |  BOOK A TRIP

I didn't think an experience like this was possible.

This trip, was, for me at least not just a trip, for me it was a real adventure, a real experience. I love the wilderness and this trip afforded me the opportunity to connect with the Alaskan wilderness in ways very few people do. It was an experience I will never forgot in a place I can’t wait to get back to.

Oliver Fischer

The outfitter handled everything perfectly.

We were thankful that Outdoors International hooked us up with a great outfitter because they were able to find us an acceptable alternate on short notice. Overall the two year process to get this float in was seamless and worry free. Just like it should be.

Thank you,
Stan Masneri

What an amazing experience!

The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing. Our photo safari guide was truly exceptional and had us on animals almost constantly. We saw over 30 different species and had some incredible up close experiences. Africa is amazing!
