Russian 4x4 jeeps transport hunters to base camps situated at approximately 13,000 feet above sea level. From there, hunters embark on their pursuit of rams, which seldom descend below 10,000 feet. What to Expect

• Extreme Conditions: The region's high-altitude desert climate means cold, windy, and unpredictable weather. Hunters must be well-prepared with proper clothing, gear, and medication. Altitude sickness is a real concern, and acclimatization at base camp is strongly recommended.
• Physical Demands: Hunting in Tajikistan requires excellent physical condition. The steep, barren terrain and thin air demand stamina and preparation. Consult with a doctor before the trip and stay well-hydrated throughout the journey.
• Incredible Game: With limited access and harsh conditions keeping pressure low, the area supports a remarkable population of Marco Polo sheep. Hunters often encounter massive horns left behind by natural causes like predation and harsh winters.
