Argentina Red Stag
March 18-25, 2022

The trip was amazing. The staff made my red stag hunting experience one to remember. The outfitter runs a first class outfit. The food is amazing (it’s all made fresh by the kitchen staff at the lodge with the animals that are harvested). The free range Stag hunting was not easy. It’s really thick terrain with a lot of thorny plants. It’s truly a real hunt. But the guides at the lodge really know the animals and the area and will get you into the animals. Listening to the roars of the Stags is something I will never forget. Their roars are incredible to hear. And there are plenty of other big game species and doves available to hunt at the ranch.

There is a few things that I might do different next time:

1. I might bring my own rifle for one. The outfitter has great rifles that are perfect for harvesting a red stag but if you are interested in hunting Blackbuck, Fallow Deer or Axis Deer I would rather us a rifle that I have shot a lot and feel more comfortable with. Blackbucks for example are a very small animal that are very fast and don’t give you much of a target.
2. Also I would have set up stuff in the states with a importers or broker to receive our trophies. The outfitter will set everything up on his end with a shipper but you have to take care of it being received in the states for going through customs.

Over all this was a trip of a lifetime and well worth the cost. If you are wanting to hunt Red Stag in the wild, fair chase I would definitely recommend this outfitter.

It was an amazing steelhead fishing trip! I brought my dad along with me and we slayed the fish. If you guys aren't applying for the OI Draws, you should. They're legit!
