Three stags between the two of us. First day was very physically challenging, though we got two stags in the same day. Second day of hunt was less rigorous, and was a great hunt having to wait 45 mins for the stag to stand up.

Overall, my trip was a great experience. Food and lodging was great. Communication wasn’t the easiest. Game was plentiful with good trophy quality.
Just wish the guides spoke more english. We were able to communicate pretty well with certain spanish words and hand signals.
My goal was to find a booking agent who could handle all these hunts for me. I have found that agent in Mat. I would gladly share a camp with him again.
You can find hunts for animals from addax to zebra, but the most popular Texas exotics are axis deer, blackbuck, fallow, sika and aoudad.
Cold and soaking wet, crawling through heather. The water was slouching in my boots and the magnificent Stag was down! What fun!
The estate was beautiful and held a significant amount of game. The stalkers were very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful.
….my stalker whispered “neck”, I fired and the stag immediately dropped. Successful stalk. A beautiful 12 point royal stag.
