This moose hunt not only met, but exceeded all expectations!
The number of bull moose seen was truly unbelievable! My first moose hunting trip which was so incredible it may have set future moose hunting up to be disappointing in comparison. The bulls weren’t over hunted as evident by the way they responded to calling by someone who’d never called a moose before.
- Truly a trip of a lifetime, I’ll treasure the memories forever.
- My outfitter’s communication before, during and after the trip was great.
- Physically, the trip was moderate.
- The food was amazing.
- The accommodations were good.

If anything I’d say this hunt is undersold by Outdoors International. When they tell you what to expect, go with great expectations and if it’s half the hunt we had, you’ll leave saying the same as I did! On our Alaska hunt, we saw over 100 different bulls and all three tagged out in five days of hunting! I’d retake this trip anytime! Take young big guys to haul moose they are BIG Animals even after being quartered up. Nothing like packing out an elk! Best hunting trip I’ve ever taken!

The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing.
