If you want to experience the best polar bear hunts Canada has to offer, Nunavut is the place to go. In fact, this hunt, with this outfitter, in our opinion is the best in the world.

Of all of the polar bear hunts, there is only one outfitter that we recommend.

A non-Inuit sport hunter hunted the first legal polar bear with this outfitter in 1981, and since then, over their hunters have taken over 1,000 polar bears. His guides still follow their Inuit traditions and are the best in the business. These traditions  have been handed down to them by their fathers and their fathers before them for centuries.

A Polar Bear is required for the North American 29.

To qualify for the Super Slam of North American Big Game®, a hunter must have registered the legal taking of all 29 of the traditionally recognized species of big game animals native to North America. A polar bear is one of the most expensive and difficult to pull off. Having the right people on your team is essential.

Hunting in the Arctic is undoubtedly the most physically demanding hunt that a modern day hunter can pursue. Everything from the gear you take polar bear hunting Canada is extremely important. We’ve helped a number of hunters complete their North American 29, and we’d love to earn your business as well.

Contrary to popular belief, polar bears are a conservation success story.

As it is with many other animals around the world, polar bears might have faced extinction had it not been for the efforts of conservationists. Controlled and tightly regulated polar bear hunts in Canada have helped by giving them value.

The Canada Arctic is home to roughly 16,000 polar bears, two thirds of the world’s population.

Government biologists keep a close eye on polar bear populations in the Canadian Arctic. A very limited amount of licenses are issued each year. Sex-selective harvesting has kept the polar bear population healthy. Only 33% of bears taken may be female.

The outfitter was outstanding from my first conversation with the owner!

  2. Tony Mudd

Having archery hunted and taken all of the North American animals except one, I can assure you this was to date one of the most incredible hunting adventures I have ever been apart of.

  3. Gary Colbath

I just returned from the pinnacle trip of my hunting career. My adventure in the Arctic for polar bear was an extraordinary experience, with far and away the premier Arctic outfitter hands-down. This is their 40th year in business and to say they have the process dialed in would be an understatement. Their help with logistics before, during and after the hunt was awesome. The Inuit guides they employ are hunters themselves and definitely knew the country, the animals and how to help me deal with the harsh Arctic conditions.

Our hunt was excellent.

We saw bucks every day along with all other sorts of wildlife. Mountain goats, bears, and foxes were common sights. Fishing and crabbing was special bonus. The food was excellent, the crew was amazing. Outdoors International did a great job of finding exactly what we were looking for.

Jesse Neveau

What an amazing experience!

The hunting lodge was out of this world!, Rooms, food and the scenery were all A+. Our guide was exceptional and had us on Shiras moose all five days. We saw over 30 total with at least 10 bulls. They had a plan for everything including taxidermy and game processing.
