The Middle Fork of the Salmon River, which runs through “The Frank” is one of the deepest gorges in North America, deeper even than the famous Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Big Creek is the largest tributary of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, and one of the most remote locations in the lower 48.
