Texas Exotics Hunt
We had a great exotics hunt. There were multiple options for the [high fence](https://outdoors-international.com/product-tag/product-tag/high-fence-estate-hunts/) and [low fence exotics](https://outdoors-international.com/texas-exotics-hunting/) on the [Texas](https://outdoors-international.com/north-america/southern-states/texas-outdoors/) ranch. The ranch was beautiful. Some of the hikes and stalks were physical, which is a preference for me.
After the first day of hunting hard for my preference of the low fence [axis deer](https://outdoors-international.com/our outfitter-hunting/), I changed my preference to whichever comes first. I missed a [huge buck](https://outdoors-international.com/texas-deer-hunting/) on the first day — I shot over him. The second morning, we put an epic stalk on a solid buck and took him down.
The ranch has a ton of [exotic game](https://outdoors-international.com/hunting/exotics/) on it, and we had fun doing some [fox hunting](https://outdoors-international.com/product-tag/predator-hunts/), shed hunting, and [hog hunting](https://outdoors-international.com/hunting/big-game/pigs/) with the remaining time. I told the young guides that I wanted to do some "Country Stuff." That made them laugh, and we had a great time.
I am going to [bring some of my employees and customers](https://outdoors-international.com/specialty-trips/corporate-retreats/) back for axis deer, and [we saw a lot of aoudad](https://outdoors-international.com/john-labanc/).

What an amazing experience!
The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing.
