Golden Dorado Fishing
The golden dorado (Salminus brasiliensis) is a South American fish is an apex predator that is notoriously aggressive and will put up a great fight once hooked. Their aggressive, voracious nature, incredible strength and stamina makes them the ultimate freshwater gamefish. Chasing golden dorado in the jungles of Bolivia or rivers of Northern Argentina should be on every anglers bucket list.
You can use anything from a 6wt. to a 9wt. saltwater rod, but we recommend an 8wt. with floating, intermediate and sink tip fly lines.
