TRIP TAKEN: DIY Cordova, Alaska Blacktail Deer Hunt

Had a great trip to Cordova, Alaska to hunt Blacktail deer. We were picked up at the airport, stopped at the range to check zero on the rifles, then went to the Transporter’s place to drop everything off. He had a vehicle for us to use to go to town and see the sights. The following evening we headed out to the islands to hunt deer, ducks, and fish. The game was plentiful and the vessel-based accommodations were fantastic. He has great videos on his phone showing his boats and how they’re rigged out for the hunters.
Would highly recommend you to get a few buddies together and head out on this hunt!

What an amazing experience!
The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing.
