Colorado Combo Hunts

Colorado has the largest elk herds in the nation and great mule deer genetics like most of the rest of the state. It’s no wonder that our hunters have had great success on these Colorado elk and mule deer combo hunts. Multiple season and unit options are available ranging from OTC to draw tags.

  • Elk hunters have high success and opportunity on mature 6×6 and 5×5 bulls in the 260-300 range with the occasional larger bull taken.
  • The average buck taken on our Colorado mule deer hunts will be in the 150-170 inch range, but almost every year a few of our hunters take a stomper.

ARCHERY Colorado Elk Hunting

If you’re a bowhunter, you’ll love our Colorado archery elk hunting outfitter. This is an incredibly fun hunt as the elk are numerous, active and in the rut. The action can be non-stop, and on a typical year, you’ll be in elk every day. Excellent opportunities also exist for the muzzleloading hunter as the elk are in the rut and receptive to calls.

These hunts take place in limited license areas that you can draw for, which hold more game and some bigger bulls. But if you don’t draw, we have some great open units. This means you can buy your license over the counter. These units usually have more hunting pressure, but there are more areas to hunt and still a large number of elk.

Great trail ride into the elk camp, good stock to ride on, the outfitter did a wonderful job in my 2017 hunt for elk.

  2. Ken Holman

It was great experience to connect on that bull. Grant did a great job of putting me on elk and calling this one in.

  3. Charles Bartlett

I couldn’t have asked for more. Kevin and Marc were great guides that knew, not only how to find the elk but, how to make a hunter feel at home in the mountains.

All three hunters in our camp got bulls.

Hunting was tough, opening day was great then weather went bad, but our guides worked hard to get the job done.

My hunt was absolutely top notch.

The outfitter is a fantastic man and incredibly hard working and knowledgeable, there is no doubt he will do everything within his power to make peoples hunts successful and enjoyable. I plan to do it again with him next year for sure.

Wade Zuver

Our hunt was excellent.

We saw bucks every day along with all other sorts of wildlife. Mountain goats, bears, and foxes were common sights. Fishing and crabbing was special bonus. The food was excellent, the crew was amazing. Outdoors International did a great job of finding exactly what we were looking for.

Jesse Neveau

What an amazing experience!

The hunting lodge was out of this world!, Rooms, food and the scenery were all A+. Our guide was exceptional and had us on Shiras moose all five days. We saw over 30 total with at least 10 bulls. They had a plan for everything including taxidermy and game processing.
