Excellent trip. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had a great time. This hunt isn’t physically demanding, but you need to be prepared to sit on stands for a long time. Aaron was very nice, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. It was a really good hunt, and I wouldn’t mind going back.
This brown bear hunt started out a little rocky. A cancelled flight to Alaska caused me to be about a day late to start the trip.

I arrived in camp too late to hunt the first date, but was there to meet us. I slept through the night and the next morning sighted in my gun. We started hunting with not a lot of success through the first five days. The other hunters in camp had more luck. Two were successful shooting nice grizzlies the very first day. Day 5 turned into a long day, but a successful one. We sat in the stand for about 7 hours, when a really nice grizzly came in. It seemed to be as big as a truck. Luckily, I was able to drop the bear right at the bait. Overall, it was a really good hunt. The people were helpful, nice and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to hunt with them.
Gary with Outdoors International was very helpful, courteous and always willing to go the extra mile.
He was quick to respond, and helped however he could. I think, for the Alaskan trips, it’s helpful that Gary resides in Alaska. Boots on the ground information is always useful. I’m getting to the end of my hunting career, but wouldn’t hesitate to ask for his advice and help on another trip. I think it was really nice that he continued to try and help after he got my deposit. I’ve had consultants get my deposit and never hear from them again.

Our hunt was excellent.
We saw bucks every day along with all other sorts of wildlife. Mountain goats, bears, and foxes were common sights. Fishing and crabbing was special bonus. The food was excellent, the crew was amazing. Outdoors International did a great job of finding exactly what we were looking for.

What an amazing experience!
The hunting lodge was out of this world!, Rooms, food and the scenery were all A+. Our guide was exceptional and had us on Shiras moose all five days. We saw over 30 total with at least 10 bulls. They had a plan for everything including taxidermy and game processing.
