Our hunt was a great experience.

We originally wanted to do just a caribou hunt but ended up upgrading to the combo with grizzly bear and caribou. The first hunting day we went after grizzly as the weather was pretty poor farther north where the concentrations of caribou are.

We went up river into the hunting areas in an aluminum motor boat with our guide. It ended up being a pretty exciting first day. Tagged out on a beautiful blonde-phase bear right away and saw many bears and a ton of bear sign. The following day we head back to wait for a break in the weather.

We were able to fly into caribou camp the next day and unfortunately spent a good amount of it socked in. We did see some animals in between weather breaks but they were just too far. The caribou was a bit of a bummer but so excited about our grizzly bear!

Overall, my trip was a great experience. The Outfitter was very knowledgeable and has several different methods to be successful on grizzly bears.
My outfitter’s communication before, during and after the trip was good.
My guide was amazing.
Physically, the trip was moderate.
The food was good.
The accommodations were good.
Would you book another trip with OUTDOORS INTERNATIONAL in the future? Yes. Kyle was very responsive and great to deal with. This is one of three trips we currently have booked with him and Outdoors International. All have been a seamless process and great experiences.
