HUNT: Alaska Unguided Caribou Hunt

In six days of hunting our party went four for six on caribou.
We also had shots at one wolf, and did not get it. Fishing was pretty good for grayling and we even caught a couple of lake trout. Very good outfitter with a lot of experience.
We flew into a remote lake about 150 mi NNE of Kotzebue, Alaska and were dropped off by outfitter with instructions on caribou hunting tips and typical animal migration routes. In six days of hunting our party went four for six on Alaska caribou. We also had shots at one wolf, and did not get it. Fishing was pretty good for grayling and we even caught a couple of lake trout. Very good outfitter with a lot of experience.
My consultant works for Outdoors International. I have worked with him before and he has always gone out of his way to be sure everything is set up as it should be, and that I have all the information I need with respect to my trip.

What an amazing experience!
The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing.
