You’ll be hunting in some of the most beautiful and remote areas of the country, surrounded by stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Your guides will be experienced and knowledgeable, and will work with you to ensure that you have the best possible hunting experience. Our Hunters Average Three Cases of Shells per Day!
Those who have shot doves in Argentina return impressed by the waves of birds that cross the sky all day long. The birds roost near the water, and circle the fields every day to feed across the vast nearby rich-in-crops hilly region. At midday the doves fly in both directions and in the late afternoon, they return to their roosts.
The Best Time to Go.
Even though shooting is superb all year round, the best time to go on an Argentina dove hunt is during the country’s summer months, from December to March. During this time, the weather is warm and dry, and the bird populations are at their highest. However, it’s important to book your trip well in advance, as this is a popular time for hunting enthusiasts from around the world to visit Argentina.
Argentina Dove Hunting Season
Seasons and the allowed quota for doves and pigeons are as follows. These may vary slightly because of governmental regulations or the outfitters own game management plans.
- Dove Season: January 1 through December 31 – NO LIMIT
- Pigeon Season: January 1 through December 31 – NO LIMIT
Interested in a mixed bag hunt?
No other company in the country offers the highest standard of service, the variety of species, the quality of game and the territories that our outfitter can. If you are interested in a mixed bag hunt, with dove as part of the experience, the Buenos Aires area offers fantastic dove hunting, as well as ducks, pigeons, perdiz and options for big game hunting as well. If a cast-and-blast style hunt is more you’re style, check out our duck hunting, Golden dorado fishing trip.
Located just a few hours outside of Buenos Aires, this area offers what we would consider a more low volume dove shooting experience. Most afternoons will find you in the dove fields, where you can expect to shoot 10 to 15 boxes of shells per session.
