YUKON MOUNTAIN GOAT HUNT OPTIONS

  • Add a goat to your early August Dall sheep hunt.
  • You can also add a mountain goat to a fall moose, caribou or grizzly hunt.
GET MORE INFO ABOUT THIS HUNT

In the vast wilderness of the Yukon Territories, there are good numbers of mountain goats due to extremely light hunting pressure. These majestic Billies often tip the scales at a remarkable 400 pounds, with the average Billie measuring a substantial 9 ¼ inches. What truly sets Yukon mountain goat hunting apart is their magnificent coats of fur, which remain luxuriously long even during early hunting seasons, thanks to the July and August snowfall that blankets their lofty mountain habitat.

YUKON Mountain Goat Hunting IS TYPICALLY A COMBO WITH OTHER SPECIES

While single species hunts for these magnificent mountain goats are available, they can also be seamlessly integrated into your early August sheep hunts or your fall moose, caribou, or grizzly bear hunt.

THERE IS VERY LIMITED HUNTING PRESSURE IN THE YUKON

The outfitter’s commitment to wildlife conservation ensures that mountain goat populations are only lightly hunted, ensuring a bountiful opportunity to encounter mature animals. They offer flexibility in the duration of your adventure, with the choice of 7 or 10-day hunts, each tailored to your preferences, be it a challenging test of your skills or a more relaxed outing.

We are not selling this hunt as a place to take a book goat. Instead, Yukon mountain goat hunting with our outfitters is geared toward near perfect success for exceptional representatives of this remarkable species. You’ll have a great chance at a successful hunt (no hunt is every guaranteed), and an unforgettable and enriching experience. It’s worth noting that the Ceaser Lake region is the sole area in the Yukon with mountain goat permits. This exclusive privilege ensures that you can be one of the fortunate few to explore and hunt in this extraordinary place. With a track record of near 100% opportunity on hunts, even with archery equipment, we invite you to join us for an adventure of a lifetime.

My hunt was absolutely top notch.

The outfitter is a fantastic man and incredibly hard working and knowledgeable, there is no doubt he will do everything within his power to make peoples hunts successful and enjoyable. I plan to do it again with him next year for sure.

Our hunt was excellent.

We saw bucks every day along with all other sorts of wildlife. Mountain goats, bears, and foxes were common sights. Fishing and crabbing was special bonus. The food was excellent, the crew was amazing. Outdoors International did a great job of finding exactly what we were looking for.

What an amazing experience!

The hunting lodge was out of this world!, Rooms, food and the scenery were all A+. Our guide was exceptional and had us on Shiras moose all five days. We saw over 30 total with at least 10 bulls. They had a plan for everything including taxidermy and game processing.
