A combo hunt puts two or more species on the same trip. Moose and caribou in the north,
elk and bear in the Rockies, a mixed bag of plains game on one African safari, a sheep hunt
with a goat tag in your pocket.
The appeal is simple arithmetic: one set of flights, one set of days off work, one
outfitter deposit, more than one animal on the wall. For a hunter who travels once a year,
that can be the difference between one trip and two.
The catch is focus. A dedicated hunt for one animal usually kills that animal more often
than a combo does, because the guide is not splitting effort. Ask us which species is the
priority — we’ll tell you whether the second one is a realistic add or a lottery ticket.
Combo Hunts
Combo hunts are a great way to hunt a few different game species in a more affordable way that booking multiple hunting trips in a single season. You can also increase your odds of success by having more than one tag in your pocket. Nowhere is this more common than in Alaska, where combo hunts are the norm.

I didn't think an experience like this was possible.
This trip, was, for me at least not just a trip, for me it was a real adventure, a real experience. I love the wilderness and this trip afforded me the opportunity to connect with the Alaskan wilderness in ways very few people do. It was an experience I will never forgot in a place I can’t wait to get back to.

The outfitter handled everything perfectly.
We were thankful that Outdoors International hooked us up with a great outfitter because they were able to find us an acceptable alternate on short notice. Overall the two year process to get this float in was seamless and worry free. Just like it should be.
Thank you,

What an amazing experience!
The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing. Our photo safari guide was truly exceptional and had us on animals almost constantly. We saw over 30 different species and had some incredible up close experiences. Africa is amazing!
