Alaskan Peninsula Brown Bear Hunt

I booked a cancellation brown bear hunt on the Alaskan Peninsula with Kyle from Outdoors International and it was an amazing experience! We shot a 9’2” bear at 6:13am the first morning. Our guide and outfitter were awesome. We had no idea what to expect and everything went great. Alaska is very unpredictable and our outfitter worked very hard to get people on bear and provide the best experience possible.

There’s not much I would change about the experience except that I wish we could’ve hunted more but you can’t pass up a bear like that on the first morning. I’d highly recommend both our outfitter and Outdoors International with this hunt. I will be back for the grizzly hunt in the fall! Even though it was a cancellation hunt, spending this much money on a hunt and having no idea what you’re going to get is uncomfortable, but Kyle set up us with great people who offered a great hunt.
