Lodge-based, spring alberta black bear huntS over bait
These are solid, quality black bear hunt over bait with a two bear limit.
Hunting Lodge #1: This two-bear Alberta hunt package offers an all-inclusive 6 day hunt. In addition to bear you can hunt wolves and go fishing. You’ll be hunting a huge area, and should see several bears during your hunt. The lodging accommodations are either a hunting lodge or a large house.
Hunting Lodge #2: Spring Alberta black bear hunts take place over bait in May and June. They use dozens of cellular trail cameras in their exclusive area bordering a massive military flying range that is all perfect habitat. They also take several fall bear hunts throughout September and October during their moose hunts. Bears are heavier this time of year, with shorter but very thick coats.
You’ll stay in a modern, hand-hewn log lodge, light-housekeeping cabins, or one of their suites. Whichever you choose, it will provide luxury in a pristine wilderness setting.

This trophy Alberta bear hunting trip is one of our most unique.
Hunting camp is located about an hour and a half from the Fort McMurray International Airport. The Northern Alberta Foothills region has built solid reputation. This area has a high black bear population and produces LOTS of World Class trophy boars.
The hunting territory is exclusive to the outfitter. Residents do not have access to hunt.
After over 15 years of outstanding management, the camp is consistently producing 95% book record boars. On a typical hunt, you can expect to see about 6 to 10 bears a day, over 40 bear a week, and harvest a 7-footer with an 18 inch skull if they follow their guide’s direction. Markers are provided at every crib (bait site) to help you with field judging.
This baited Alberta bear hunt only targets boars that will make Pope and Young.
Our hunters have a 98% P&Y success rate, and a 100% shooting opportunity is guaranteed by the outfitter! This is the only bear camp in Alberta with a long term 7-footer harvest rate of 95% AND 25% of color phase bears. On top of all of that, in Alberta you can harvest up to two black bears on the same license.
These are six-day hunts, Sunday to Sunday.
You can sleep in in the morning as the staff works at servicing the quads and getting everything ready for the afternoon hunt. After an early hot and filling lunch, hunters follow their guide on quads to their tree stand. You’ll spend the afternoon on stand and will be pick up just after dark to return to camp to enjoy a hot dinner.

The trip was great! Hard working outfitter, decent accomodations, good food and very relaxing. Bear activity was unpredictable due to Albertas late spring but the bears were definitely there. Our group shot a bunch of bears, all our outfitter kills, caught fish and really enjoyed the outfitter and his family.

A lot of fun and A lot of bears. I saw at least 6 bears a day.
I saw bear fights mommas running off sows and cubs and mommas climb 30 ft in the air.
Tents were great food was amazing conversations were awesome. The other hunters are now my friends. Couldn’t of asked for a better hunt.

This hunt with Nate was tremendous. My son Daniel was the hunter and I was the observer. Daniel got a bear. Not the biggest Bear in the our outfitter, but a nice bear. Didn’t see a thing 1st 2 days, shot his bear on day 3, saw nothing days 4 & 5. Then he shot another one on Day 6, knocked it down, but it got up and took off, We never found it.

The outfitter picked me up at the airport, my flight and luggage were delayed but he waited for me and made a special trip to get my luggage when it arrived. He explained safety, the hunting guidelines, stated the time lines, schedule and in order to be respective of everyone’s time the protocol on getting to and from the stand.
