Of all the the Caribbean fly fishing opportunities, the inshore grand slam is one of the most challenging and unique scenarios to achieve.
The Caribbean will have grand slam opportunities year-round depending upon where you fish.
Some areas will provide a diversity of species throughout all twelve months of the year, while others in the region will provide opportunities within only specific months of the year. Besides the planning aspect, if a grand slam is a goal, the biggest step anyone should take to prepare is to practice casting.
The Inshore Grand Slam
Any combination of the following three fish in a single day constitute an IGFA certified Inshore Grand Slam. If you catch all four of these inshore game fish in a day, it is considered an Inshore Super Grand Slam.

*You do not have to keep, weigh or kill a fish in order to qualify for an Inshore Grand Slam like you would for a world record. All you need to do is take a picture with the angler and the contact information of the captain, guide or other witness.
