British Columbia offers first class fishing with a ton of value. British Columbia fishing is so good, partly because of it’s 25,000 lakes and 12,000+ miles of coastline. Anglers travel from around the world to fish for salmon, halibut, sturgeon, and steelhead.
Great trip! Have always wanted a shot at a saltwater grand slam. While I did not hook-up on a tarpon, I couldn’t get them to take my fly. Guess that’s why they call it fishing and not catching. Would love to go back some day.
Not only did I catch Kings, my guide Gary got me into plenty of cod, black bass and yellow eye rockfish.
I am going back again this year with my wife and hoping to get into some Tarpon! They begin to migrate late summer and can be great in September and October. These tarpon are much larger than the resident tarpon available all year.
