A Second Visit to Remember
I just returned from an unforgettable trip to a great fishing lodge in Mexico, where I had the pleasure of hosting nine of my friends. Having been there once before, I knew we were in for a treat, but this trip exceeded all expectations. We kicked things off with an incredible first day, reeling in 17 sailfish between all of us. It was an exhilarating experience, to say the least!
But the adventure didn’t stop at sailfish. We managed to boat a few black marlin, plenty of roosters, and a few mahi. It was an exhilarating experience watching some of my buddies partake in a rodeo, wrestling with sailfish on fly rods!!
The food was delicious, as always. One of the highlights of returning to the lodge was seeing the same talented chef still working there. They greet you with a refreshing margarita as soon as you arrive, followed by fresh chips and ceviche—a perfect welcome after a day out on the water. For dinner, we indulged in some of our catch, prepared exquisitely. Talk about fresh!
The pool was just the right spot to unwind, margarita in hand, after long days in the sun. Its inviting waters made it the perfect place for all of us to relax and swap fish tales from the day.
Everything ran smoothly, from the boats to the service, and the guides were fantastic. Although there was a language barrier at times, it didn’t hinder the experience at all. Their dedication ensured we had a blast.
Counting down the days until we return has already begun. I can’t wait for another round of amazing fishing, great food, and good times with friends at the lodge. Until next time!

What an amazing experience!
The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing. Our photo safari guide was truly exceptional and had us on animals almost constantly. We saw over 30 different species and had some incredible up close experiences. Africa is amazing!
