HUNT: DIY, Vessel Based Hunt out of Cordova, Alaska

This was my first boat-based hunt.
Ken our Captain, and Steven the cook/deckhand were great guys and did their best to take us to good hunting areas.
It was a DIY hunt and two of our group of four got black bears on day one. Then the weather turn bad and we had solid rain for the rest of the trip. That’s Alaska for you! The Sitka blacktail deer were hiding, so we struck out on them!
You can’t control the weather, but it was still a great experience with awesome views from the boat!
