Alaska

The Land of superlatives

Alaska has the largest national park, highest peak, longest coastline, biggest state, longest day and night. The list goes on, and with all of these unparalleled characteristics, you'd be hard pressed to cover even a fraction of this place in a typical one- or two-week vacation period. The 49th state offers so many things to do and see, you could vacation here for the rest of your life and never have the same experience twice. Alaska's adventure, history, culture, fishing, hiking, skiing, wildlife watching and scenery just might be the best in all of North America, but then, you'd expect that, right?

Alaska Adventures: Hunting, Fishing, Wingshooting, and Ecotourism

Discover Alaska's vast wilderness through our curated experiences in hunting, fishing, wingshooting, and ecotourism. From remote lodges in areas like Soldotna and the Iliamna River to guided trips in untouched Arctic regions, we provide access to big game hunts, prime fishing trips, and wildlife viewing. These packages are designed for serious outdoors enthusiasts seeking authentic, low-impact adventures that respect Alaska's ecosystems.

Hunting in Alaska

Hunters around the world dream of hunting in Alaska. It’s filled with diverse opportunities differing from anywhere else in the world. Our guided hunts target species like Dall sheep, brown bear, grizzly bear, moose, caribou, Sitka blacktail deer, mountain goat, black bear, and even feral reindeer in productive areas managed for sustainable harvests. Expect multi-day excursions with experienced guides, focusing on ethical practices and high success rates in remote backcountry. Trips often combine with fishing or viewing for a full-spectrum experience.

Unguided Hunts in Alaska

For seasoned hunters looking to embrace the raw challenge of Alaska's wilderness, unguided hunts offer unparalleled freedom and self-reliance in pursuing big game without the structure of a guided expedition. Non-residents can legally hunt species like moose, caribou, Sitka blacktail, and black bear on their own. However, regulations mandate that non-residents must be accompanied by a licensed guide for brown/grizzly bears, Dall sheep, and mountain goats, while aliens require guides for all big game.

These hunts often involve drop-off services to remote public lands, emphasizing preparation for harsh conditions, ethical harvesting, and sustainable practices. We can coordinate logistics like transportation and gear rentals through our network, allowing you to focus on the hunt.

Fishing Adventures

Alaska's rivers and coastal waters offer world-class fishing for salmon, halibut, lingcod, and rockfish. Join fly-out trips to secluded spots or multi-adventure packages from a lodge that pair angling with other activities.

Wingshooting Opportunities

Experience dynamic wingshooting for waterfowl and upland birds, particularly uniques species like sea ducks, and ptarmigan. These hunts are often integrated with fishing for a versatile cast-and-blast outing.

Ecotourism and Adventure Tours

For non-harvest experiences, explore Alaska's natural wonders through eco-tours focused on wildlife viewing, hiking, rafting, and photography. Watch bears feeding on salmon, whales breaching in fjords, or eagles soaring overhead. Options include heli-access to glaciers, kayaking among icebergs, and bear viewing in places like Katmai National Park—all with a commitment to minimal environmental impact.

I didn't think an experience like this was possible.

This trip, was, for me at least not just a trip, for me it was a real adventure, a real experience. I love the wilderness and this trip afforded me the opportunity to connect with the Alaskan wilderness in ways very few people do. It was an experience I will never forgot in a place I can’t wait to get back to.

The outfitter handled everything perfectly.

We were thankful that Outdoors International hooked us up with a great outfitter because they were able to find us an acceptable alternate on short notice. Overall the two year process to get this float in was seamless and worry free. Just like it should be.

Thank you,
Stan Masneri

What an amazing experience!

The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing. Our photo safari guide was truly exceptional and had us on animals almost constantly. We saw over 30 different species and had some incredible up close experiences. Africa is amazing!
