GET MORE INFO ABOUT THIS HUNT

Even though Alaska holds a special place for hunters (us included), we think you should consider the unparalleled brown bear hunting on Kamchatka Peninsula, where remote wilderness and high bear populations redefine the hunting experience. With minimal pressure, a high success rate, and the realistic opportunity to hunt 10-foot giants, all at a surprisingly affordable cost, Kamchatka stands out as the ultimate destination for trophy brown bear hunters.

The dream of taking 10-foot Alaskan brown bear has become a daunting challenge.

Even in the best areas, success rates are fairly low, despite soaring costs. Most hunters return with bears squaring between 8.5 and 9.2 feet, which are still remarkable but not the colossal specimens we all dream of.

Securing a true 10-foot giant has become increasingly rare, almost an exception in modern times. Our Alaskan outfitters manage some of the best bear territories, and achieve higher success rates, but these hunts come at a premium. Not only are they expensive, but booking them can mean waiting years, with costs steadily climbing each year.

Kamchatka Brown Bear Hunting is Unmatched

When it comes to brown bear hunting, the Kamchatka Peninsula stands out, challenging conventional wisdom and offering an experience unparalleled in North America. Here, you’ll need to reimagine what brown bear hunting can be.

Unheard of Success Rates

The prime bear hunting areas in Kamchatka are accessible only by helicopter, ensuring minimal hunting pressure. In fact, there’s no legal limit on the number of bears a hunter can take in a single expedition. Over the last 25 years in our exclusive area, hunters have averaged two bears per 6-day hunt, boasting an astonishing 200% success rate.

High Population of Bears

The bear population here is so dense that seeing 20 or more brown bears each day during a 6-day hunt is not uncommon. This high density means guides set out each morning with the goal of targeting bears measuring 10 feet or more.

Optimal Hunting Season

Spring in Kamchatka offers the best time for hunting trophy bears with prime hides. Thanks to the snow, locating these giants is facilitated by snowmobiles, making this one of the least physically demanding brown bear hunts globally, accessible to hunters of all abilities.

Cost-Effective

Hunting a Kamchatka brown bear cost significantly less than similar high-quality hunts in places like the Alaskan Peninsula or Kodiak, with an all-inclusive cost that’s 25% to 40% less, covering flights, charters, licenses, tags, and even tips.

Gear and Gun Permits

While our outfitter provides modern, high-quality firearms for rent, we also assist hunters in obtaining personal gun permits for Russia, ensuring you can hunt with your preferred gear.

Our English-speaking team in Russia handles all aspects of your journey, from arrival and gun clearance to daily camp management and trophy processing, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable hunting experience from start to finish.

After your Spring hunt, you’ll receive your professionally bleached skulls and tanned hides within about 6 months, bypassing the usual long waits at tanneries, allowing you to mount your trophy much sooner.

My hunt was absolutely top notch.

The outfitter is a fantastic man and incredibly hard working and knowledgeable, there is no doubt he will do everything within his power to make peoples hunts successful and enjoyable. I plan to do it again with him next year for sure.

Our hunt was excellent.

We saw bucks every day along with all other sorts of wildlife. Mountain goats, bears, and foxes were common sights. Fishing and crabbing was special bonus. The food was excellent, the crew was amazing. Outdoors International did a great job of finding exactly what we were looking for.

What an amazing experience!

The hunting lodge was out of this world!, Rooms, food and the scenery were all A+. Our guide was exceptional and had us on Shiras moose all five days. We saw over 30 total with at least 10 bulls. They had a plan for everything including taxidermy and game processing.
