Alaska Moose Hunt

We did a self-guided, ten day moose hunt in Alaska. We had a drop camp that put us on a little lake that overlooked the […] River. For our first trip to Alaska it had spectacular scenery and a great landscape. The people we dealt with were extremely nice and accommodating to the best they could, we found out it is not easy getting in and out of the backcountry fighting weather. We were set up with a camp that had plenty of supplies to accommodate a camp. The food was mostly Mountain House and dried food. I will say who ever thought of putting Montreal steak seasoning in was a rock star.
The moose hunt was a success for me we pulled a nice bull out of there. The pilot we had getting in and out of the lake was a damn good pilot he put us in there and got us out of there safely and professionally. All and all we had a great trip and I look forward to going back.

What an amazing experience!
The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing. Our photo safari guide was truly exceptional and had us on animals almost constantly. We saw over 30 different species and had some incredible up close experiences. Africa is amazing!
