Tarpon Fishing

The undisputed king of the saltwater flats, he demands that you bow to him! Nothing can compare to the aerial acrobatics of a tarpon. The sheer size of the fish, reaching well over 200 pounds, paired with their characteristic aerial acrobatics and hard fight make tarpon a highly sought after game fish for every saltwater angler.

Nothing matches tarpon fishing. It’s an exciting experience that every fly fisher needs to try at least once. Anglers in the know, measure a good day of tarpon fishing by how many fish the “jumped”, not how many were landed. That’s because their mouth is bony and hard, making it super difficult to set the hook. Most tarpon will shake free, but have fun while the action lasts.
