Wilderness Float Trips on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River

Depending on when you go, the Middle Fork can be an exciting whitewater adventure or a laid back, family-friendly river float.The wild, free flowing Middle Fork of the Salmon River is located in the largest wilderness in the lower 48. If you float the entire Middle Fork of the Salmon river, your whitewater float trip will be six days and over 100 miles long! For a wilderness experience, you will be surprised how comfortable your guides will keep you during your float. You will have all of the amenities you need.

This float trip is a family friendly whitewater rafting adventure on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho’s Frank Church Wilderness area. The Frank Church Wilderness is an awe inspiring place to get away from your phone, computer, and the rest of the “real world”. This trip has been described as “life changing” by many of our clients.

Summer Pack Trips

This is an epic Idaho wilderness fly fishing trip for native Westslope cutthroat trout on Big Creek. Fish Camp is likely to be the most remote location in the lower 48, located in the heart of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness area.  Complete with mature shade trees, nearby swimming hole and mud wrestling pit for the young and the young at heart.  You will enjoy sandy beaches, endless miles of hiking and horseback riding trails, whether along Big Creek or high into the surrounding mountains. The camp is equipped with roomy wall tents, cots, wood stoves, lanterns, a complete cook tent with room for indoor dining if necessary.

Wilderness Big Game Hunts

Offering a true wilderness experience in Idaho's Frank Church Wilderness Area for elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, wolves and black bears. Not only is the pressure extremely low but the quantity and quality of game is amazing! This is a true blue wilderness hunt. You will be staying in very comfortable wall tents with wood stoves. There are two hunters to one tent so there will be plenty of space. In order to save you time, many days will be spent out of what we call spike camps, or camps away from the main camp.
