  • World-Renowned Primate Trekking in Uganda: This is the pinnacle of Ugandan wildlife experiences. We connect you with expert local guides for:

    • Mountain Gorilla Trekking: Journey into the misty ancient rainforests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for an awe-inspiring encounter with a habituated Mountain Gorilla family. This is a highly regulated and deeply moving experience.
    • Chimpanzee Tracking & Habituation Experiences: Track our closest living relatives in Kibale National Park (renowned for its high primate density), Budongo Forest, Kyambura Gorge (Queen Elizabeth NP), or Kalinzu Forest.
  • Classic Ugandan Wildlife Safaris: Explore diverse national parks teeming with iconic African fauna. We help arrange guided photographic and viewing safaris in:

    • Queen Elizabeth National Park: Famous for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, the Kazinga Channel boat cruise (hippos, crocodiles, birds), and diverse savanna wildlife including elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species.
    • Murchison Falls National Park: Witness the powerful Murchison Falls where the Nile River surges through a narrow gorge. Enjoy game drives (elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopards) and boat safaris on the Victoria Nile.
    • Kidepo Valley National Park: Experience a remote and rugged wilderness in northeastern Uganda, offering a unique safari experience with species not commonly found elsewhere in the country.
    • Lake Mburo National Park: Known for its zebras, impalas, elands, and rich birdlife, offering walking safaris and boat trips.
    • Opportunities to visit rhino sanctuaries like Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
  • Guided Fishing in Uganda: Uganda offers exciting freshwater fishing, particularly for the legendary Nile Perch.

    • Nile Perch Fishing: Target giant Nile Perch in Lake Victoria (Africa's largest lake) or in the powerful waters of the Victoria Nile, especially below Murchison Falls. Other species like catfish and Tigerfish may also be encountered.
    • Other Freshwater Species: Opportunities for tilapia and other native fish in various lakes and rivers.
  • Uganda Adventure Travel & Cultural Experiences:

    • White-Water Rafting & Nile Adventures: Experience thrilling Grade 5 white-water rafting, kayaking, or jet boating at the Source of the Nile in Jinja.
    • Mountain Hiking & Climbing: For the highly adventurous, explore the challenging Rwenzori Mountains (Mountains of the Moon) or hike volcanoes like Mount Elgon.
    • Birdwatching: Uganda is a world-class birding destination with over 1,000 species recorded. Specialized birding tours can be arranged.
    • Cultural Encounters: Visit local communities like the Batwa (Pygmies) near Bwindi, learn about traditional Ugandan lifestyles, and experience vibrant local markets and music.
  • Hunting & Wingshooting in Uganda: Sport hunting for international clients in Uganda is subject to very strict regulations, limited quotas, and has undergone periods of closure. While some specialized hunts for species like Nile Buffalo, Uganda Kob, or Sitatunga may be legally possible through select outfitters, Uganda's primary wildlife focus is on photographic tourism and primate encounters. Wingshooting for game birds is not a widely promoted activity for international visitors. Outdoors International would meticulously verify the legality, ethical framework, and conservation benefits of any hunting inquiry before proceeding.

Working with Outdoors International means you gain access to our network of carefully selected and proven operators in Uganda. Receive personalized advice from experienced travel consultants who can help craft an itinerary that matches your interests and ensures a safe, ethical, and unforgettable journey into the "Pearl of Africa."

Our team of professional consultants are ready to help you research, book and plan an amazing trip with one of our amazing outfitter partners around the world.

I didn't think an experience like this was possible.

This trip, was, for me at least not just a trip, for me it was a real adventure, a real experience. I love the wilderness and this trip afforded me the opportunity to connect with the Alaskan wilderness in ways very few people do. It was an experience I will never forgot in a place I can’t wait to get back to.

The outfitter handled everything perfectly.

We were thankful that Outdoors International hooked us up with a great outfitter because they were able to find us an acceptable alternate on short notice. Overall the two year process to get this float in was seamless and worry free. Just like it should be.

Thank you, Stan Masneri

What an amazing experience!

The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing. Our photo safari guide was truly exceptional and had us on animals almost constantly. We saw over 30 different species and had some incredible up close experiences. Africa is amazing!
