I had a great aoudad hunt, and would hunt with this outfitter again. I have had some bad experiences with outfitters, and it was nice to deal with one who provided the services he said he would.
You hear that you’re going to see lots of deer, but it’s hard to comprehend how many there are. It’s safe to say the we probably saw 1,000 deer a day.
The ranch that I hunted on had a lot of game on it. The quality of the animals (aoudad) was very good, I would highly recommend this ranch and outfitter to anyone.

First introduced in the late 40’s, it has been estimated that populations of aoudad sheep in Texas have grown 1,800% since 1963. Actual numbers across Texas are not known but have been speculated to be 25,000+ animals.
The most important items on an aoudad hunt are just the same as with any sheep hunt. Get the best optics you can afford and take good, broken-in boots.
During the hunt we encountered mouflon sheep, hogs, turkey and also some Vancouver bulls!
