The Best Places to Hunt Caribou
Caribou are found in Alaska, Canada, and some parts of the northern United States. Many subspecies of caribou are recognized, including Barren-Ground, Quebec-Labrador, Mountain Caribou and Woodland, but the differences between lie mostly in habitat and behavior, not genetics.
Most hunters think of a guided caribou hunt combo in Alaska, and those are great, but there are good options around the world, including: Greenland, British Columbia, Nunavut, the Yukon, and some great reindeer hunts in Norway.
