Discover the Wild West: Guided Hunting, Fishing & Adventures in Wyoming with Outdoors International

Experience the rugged beauty and incredible outdoor opportunities of Wyoming, the Cowboy State, with Outdoors International as your trusted outfitter consultant. Home to iconic national parks like Yellowstone and Grand Teton, legendary trout streams, and world-class big game populations, Wyoming offers unparalleled adventures. We specialize in connecting discerning travelers and sportspersons with the finest vetted guides, lodges, and outfitters across the state. Whether you dream of pursuing trophy Elk, Mule Deer, or Pronghorn Antelope, casting flies on blue-ribbon trout waters, or exploring the wonders of Yellowstone and the Tetons, we help you plan your perfect Wyoming expedition at no extra cost compared to booking direct.

Wyoming is a premier destination, particularly for big game hunting, which operates primarily on a draw system for non-residents. Our experienced consultants possess deep knowledge of Wyoming's hunting units, draw odds, preference/bonus point systems, and the best local outfitters to maximize your chances for success. We can assist with application strategies or connect you directly with outfitters who have guaranteed or landowner tags where applicable.

  • Premier Wyoming Big Game Hunting: Wyoming is legendary for its big game hunting opportunities. We connect hunters with expert outfitters for:

    • Elk Hunts: Pursue large herds of Rocky Mountain Elk across diverse habitats, from high mountain wilderness areas to more accessible public and private lands. Both limited-entry trophy units and general season hunts are available.
    • Mule Deer Hunts: Hunt for trophy Mule Deer in the mountains, foothills, and sagebrush basins throughout the state.
    • Pronghorn Antelope Hunts: Experience classic western spot-and-stalk hunts for Pronghorn, the fastest land animal in North America, on Wyoming's vast prairies (Wyoming boasts the largest population in the US).
    • Black Bear & Mountain Lion: Challenging hunts for these formidable predators are available with specialized guides, often involving baiting or hound work (where legal).
    • Highly Limited / Draw Species: Wyoming offers highly coveted, limited draw opportunities for Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, Shiras Moose, Mountain Goat, and Bison. OI provides application services and can connect successful tagholders with top guides.
    • Wolf Hunts: Legally regulated wolf hunting and trapping opportunities exist in designated areas of Wyoming under state management (Trophy Game Management Area season & quota; Predator Area year-round). We connect clients with licensed outfitters operating within the current legal framework.
  • World-Class Wyoming Fishing: Cast into legendary trout waters and productive lakes. Let us connect you with top guides for:

    • Blue-Ribbon Trout Rivers: Experience exceptional fly fishing and spin fishing for Brown, Rainbow, and native Cutthroat Trout (Yellowstone & Snake River subspecies) on world-renowned waters like the North Platte River (Miracle Mile, Grey Reef), the Snake River, Green River, Bighorn River, and various Yellowstone tributaries within Wyoming.
    • Lake & Reservoir Fishing: Target trophy Lake Trout (Mackinaw), Kokanee Salmon, trout, and Smallmouth Bass in Flaming Gorge Reservoir (shared with Utah). Explore Jackson Lake, Yellowstone Lake (special regulations apply), and numerous high-mountain lakes for various trout species, grayling, and kokanee. Walleye and other warm-water species are available in select reservoirs.
    • Ice Fishing: Enjoy guided ice fishing trips during the winter months for trout, perch, and ling (burbot).
  • Guided Wingshooting in Wyoming: Experience unique western bird hunting. We can help arrange:

    • Upland Birds: Pursue Sage-Grouse (limited permits, conservation focus), Sharp-tailed Grouse, Hungarian Partridge, and Chukar in appropriate habitats. Forest grouse (Blue/Dusky, Ruffed) are found in mountain areas. Pheasant hunting is typically on preserves or limited wild areas.
    • Waterfowl Hunting: Opportunities for ducks and geese along major river systems and wetlands within the Central Flyway.
  • Wyoming Adventure Travel & National Park Exploration: Immerse yourself in the iconic landscapes of the American West. Our consultants can assist in planning adventures like:

    • Exploring the geothermal wonders and abundant wildlife of Yellowstone National Park (Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, bison, elk, bears, wolves).

I didn't think an experience like this was possible.

This trip, was, for me at least not just a trip, for me it was a real adventure, a real experience. I love the wilderness and this trip afforded me the opportunity to connect with the Alaskan wilderness in ways very few people do. It was an experience I will never forgot in a place I can’t wait to get back to.

The outfitter handled everything perfectly.

We were thankful that Outdoors International hooked us up with a great outfitter because they were able to find us an acceptable alternate on short notice. Overall the two year process to get this float in was seamless and worry free. Just like it should be.

Thank you,
Stan Masneri

What an amazing experience!

The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing. Our photo safari guide was truly exceptional and had us on animals almost constantly. We saw over 30 different species and had some incredible up close experiences. Africa is amazing!
