Cast and Blast Trips

Cast and blast puts a rod and a gun on the same trip. Silver salmon in the morning and
ducks in the afternoon in Alaska, doves and dorado in Argentina and Mexico, bear hunting with
a river full of fish running past camp.
These solve a specific problem well: a group where not everyone wants to do the same thing
every day, or a hunter traveling with a spouse or friend who’d rather fish. They’re also the
best hedge against weather, since a blown-out morning for one activity is usually fine for
the other.
Check licensing early — you’ll need both, and in some places they’re issued by different
