Kyrgyzstan, a rugged Central Asian gem, offers exhilarating adventure travel, wingshooting, fishing, and big game hunting amid its soaring Tian Shan mountains, alpine valleys, and pristine rivers.
- Adventure Travel: Adventure travel includes trekking the Ala-Archa National Park, horseback riding across yurt-dotted steppes, or skiing in Karakol.
- Fishing: Fishing thrives in rivers like the Naryn and high-altitude Lake Issyk-Kul for trout and whitefish, best from June to October.
- Wingshooting: Wingshooting targets pheasant, chukar partridge, and migratory ducks in the Alai and Chuy regions, with peak seasons from September to November.
- Hunting: Big game hunting focuses on Marco Polo sheep, ibex, and maral stag in the Pamir and Tian Shan ranges, with hunts from August to November. This is is a mountain hunt in every sense of the word- very physically demanding. Prime hunting areas are one of the most remote in Kyrgyzstan and are mainly located in the northeastern portion of the country. Hunting is conducted in Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions at 12,000 feet up to 13,500 feet above the sea level.

What an amazing experience!
The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing. Our photo safari guide was truly exceptional and had us on animals almost constantly. We saw over 30 different species and had some incredible up close experiences. Africa is amazing!
