The Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness area in Idaho is  one of the steepest, most rugged places in North America. Filled with deep canyons, wildlife, great fishing, exceptional hunting and whitewater rivers. The Middle Fork of the Salmon River, which runs through “The Frank”  is one of the deepest gorges in North America, deeper even than the famous Grand Canyon in Arizona.
