I was born and raised in St. Johns County, Florida along the banks of the St. Johns River. I was always drawn to the outdoors and inevitably, my first passion became chasing largemouth bass with my dad in the river that was my backyard. I was fortunate to live where I did and have parents that supported my drive to fish. As I aged, that passion expanded to hunting and throughout the year, I would seldom be found in the house. Between fishing tournaments and hunting seasons, being in the outdoors became my life in my late teens and early 20’s.

My story

I was blessed to be given an opportunity to join the law enforcement profession early in life. I spent 20 years serving a growing central Florida community and had so many great experiences working with the men and women in that department. My time in that profession has created a strong desire to provide opportunities for first responders to connect with the outdoors as a healthy outlet to support their mental health and well-being. It has also helped me recognize the value of building strong relationships—a lesson that now shapes my work in the outdoor industry and deepens my commitment to the clients I serve. With retirement approaching in late 2023, I joined the Outdoors International team. I would finally be able to share my passion for the outdoors with other like-minded people. Every day I look forward to meeting the next new client. Whether it be a seasoned hunter or angler, a hunter looking for their first trip “out west” or internationally, or a family that’s wanting to take their kids for that outdoor experience of a lifetime! Hearing the excitement in their voice drives me and being able to help them accomplish their goal or dream is an honor.

My most memorable and rewarding experience.

I didn't think an experience like this was possible.

This trip, was, for me at least not just a trip, for me it was a real adventure, a real experience. I love the wilderness and this trip afforded me the opportunity to connect with the Alaskan wilderness in ways very few people do. What an amazing experience!

The lodge was out of this world! Our rooms, the delicious food, the incredible wildlife and the scenery were amazing. Our photo safari guide was truly exceptional and had us on animals almost constantly. We saw over 30 different species and had some incredible up close experiences. Africa is amazing!
