The southern end of the Patagonia region close to El Calafate is one of the most unforgiving and inhospitable areas I’ve ever visited in my fishing career. Dry, windy, barren and all around tough conditions make it a much uninhabited area with the exception of sheep ranches and GIANT rainbow trout!
I had an incredible time fishing in Arkansas! Clint our guide was excellent and seemed to always know what fly to tie on and where to fish. I would recommend this trip to a beginner or experienced fly angler. I caught my biggest brown trout on this trip!
Lake Athabasca is in our opinion the BEST Lake Trout fishery in the world! Oh, and did we mention we landed 3 pike of 20 lbs while we were there as well………
