Arkansas is lucky to have some of the most famous fly fishing water in the world. Fly fishing Arkansas Little Red River, White River, Norfork River and the Spring River can produce amazingly beautiful trout year round.
The North Fork River AKA Norfork River flows only five miles below the Lake Norfork Dam in Arkansas before joining the White River. However, like the White, the Norfork is known for world-class trout fishing. At low water, the Norfork tailwater offers great wade fishing. Float-fishing from a boat is popular when the power generators are at work.
Trip Reports and Articles
I had an incredible time fishing in Arkansas! Clint our guide was excellent and seemed to always know what fly to tie on and where to fish. I would recommend this trip to a beginner or experienced fly angler. I caught my biggest brown trout on this trip!
