Arkansas is lucky to have some of the most famous fly fishing water in the world. Fly fishing Arkansas Little Red River, White River, Norfork River and the Spring River can produce amazingly beautiful trout year round.
The Little Red River
Little Red River, emerging icy cold from beneath massive dam at Greers Ferry Lake in Arkansas is a premier-class trout stream. Rainbows, cutthroats, and brown trout running 5 to 8 pounds are common, and a 20-30 pounder is always possible. In fact, the Little Red River produced the world record brown in 1996. A record that stood until 2009.
