Spring isn’t just for turkey hunting! Big game hunters take advantage of this time of year to hunt black bears. The gear you take on these hunts is different than what you’d take on a fall bear hunt. The weather during spring bear season can vary widely, swinging from pleasant and sunny to wind, rain, and even snow….all in one day. You need to bring gear to cover all of those situations, while staying lightweight.
